We laugh and play,
as if you hadn't gone away.
Your arms wrapped around me,
my cheek pressed against your chest.
Your body is still warm against mine in that place,
though I know its cold now where you lay.
While I sleep,
your heart still beats,
as if no sirens had howled.
We still laugh and play,
as if you hadn't left that day.
They stumble and search;
for what they do not know.
Searching. Ever Searching.
For what, they cannot grasp.
Not a place.
Nor a feeling.
A Savior
Someone to understand,
to give hope, love, and grace.
Someone to leave the light on,
To lead them through the dark.
I write only because there is a voice within me that will not be still. -Sylvia Plath
Most of my life, I have kept a journal (filled with my passions). I've decided to expose the depths of my mind to any who would care to read them. This blog is very simply put-me. All the poems that randomly form in my mind, all the words of others that I've collected over time, and all the thoughts God is revealing to me. Enjoy (and if you will, humor me).
