Running Still

In the calm
and
In the storm
I will rest within the shelter of your embrace.
Though it rains,
Though it pours,
Still I will run
until I have finished the race,
and remained in my faith.

Darkness deep preys on me,
Circling round and round inside my chest,
Without rest.
But I pray in your name, and
You are I AM.
So what is there left to fear?
Nothing here.
The worst pain can only last a lifetime.

I walk among wolves without hesitation,
For they know a Lion resides within my soul.
